I love building both of these kits and doing them out-of-box will take my mind off the SAAB for a little while.

Cockpits finished and fuselage halves joined. I did break down and add masking-tape seatbelt harnesses to both seats.

It's easier than four! These kits both fit so nicely that they are really relaxing.

A bit of filler and primer on fuselage seams as needed and then the wings were mounted this morning:

Scott,

A pleasure seeing your work. As soon as I finish my Dewoitine, I'll re-take my Bf-109V-4 and -C (Classic Airframes and Hobbycraft). I have been with many things to do daily, and I just have seen forum post, not no have time to reply.

I hope I see them finish!!

Cheers from México

Thanks, all!

It'll be a while before I can finish either of these as I'm going to be busy with other projects for the near future. I promise to get back to them in ten days or so.....

I should mention--this Emil kit is the third Airfix E I've built, and this one has four rather deep sink marks in the fuselage halves. They aren't hard to fill, but such marks were not evident on the first two kits I built. It doesn't affect how nicely the parts fit, though.

I've found some small time to begin the painting of these two, first by applying theatre markings and then masking these before camouflage:

Also the small parts such as landing gear, wheels, and propellers were sprayed in the same session.

Thanks, Sall.

Here is the underside camouflage, with the E on the left in RLM 78 and the G in RLM 76.
