Thanks to all for following this thread, and my new obsession!

I knew when I first started researching the Bf-109 that the collection was going to expand out of control........yet all the builds I've done so far are what I might call "therapy" and pure relaxation for me. The contest-quality (I hope) Zvezda F will come along this winter I reckon.

Here's a wing production line photo. On the left, Academy K, green Monogram G-10, and the one with filler is a UM G-14. I've been working on these during lunch time only so it will be a while until things come together. Of course, the G-10 wing will be used to build a K and vice-versa.

If anyone here has built an ICM kit you'll be familiar with the UM product. It has some flash (easily removed) and the fit is a little bit fiddly. Other than the tires and wheels it'll be a nice build with just a bit more work than we're becoming accustomed to.

Cockpits built-up, fuselage halves joined, then wing installation on the G-10, G-14, and K-4. The wing swap on the Monogram and Hobbycraft kits was very painless with only a little filing and filler.

I've even decided on paint schemes for two of the three! ;)

Incidentally, the Hispano kit probably has the best fit of all the Hobbycraft/Academy Bf 109s I've put together. The panel lines are a bit faint but the basic kit goes together nicely.

These are really a form of therapy for me, Memitus! I'd been away from aircraft scale modeling for a long number of years so there are many "new" kits, decals, accessories, etc. of the '109 for me to explore. After I repaired the first two old builds at the beginning of this thread the obsession was firmly established.
