It's MT-213 and I'm using an old AviationUSK decal sheet that I found. I thought about doing it in the "as delivered" paint scheme but I've got enough grey '109s for now.

The Finns came up with a very pretty camouflage scheme on this, I think. It's always been something I've wanted to do.

The AviationUSK decals are easy to work with but I wish I had used some white decal film under the lower wing roundels as the yellow bleeds through somewhat. I didn't put enough effort into this project, I reckon, but it does fill another of the missing nationalities in my Messerschmitt collection. I just rearranged my display area and ended up with an entire shelf of '109s. (And two more that didn't fit....)

I was going to stop working on later 109s but the T was already started, so I reckon I'll finish it. First I had to install some wheelwells as the MPM kit comes without the outer portions. I have molded a set of wheelwells and so can easily make resin copies. These were trimmed to fit and installed before closing up the long wings.

MPM provides resin cockpit sidewalls but I decided to use the styrene ones from a Hobbycraft Bf-109C. These are incorrect for a Jumo powered airplane and are really E panels, pretty much what was needed for the T. The resin bits and cockpit floor are from the MPM T.

RLM 02 in the wheelwells, 66 in the cockpit. The airplane being built here was serving in the 1943 timeframe so the darker cockpit color should be accurate. I must admit it might still have been 02 but......

There wasn't much spare time this weekend for model building, but I did manage to assemble the majority of the big parts. For a short-run kit MPM did a nice job on this, the fit is really not bad at all.
