I've tested new (at least for me) products: for the wash, Flory Models. You apply generously the wash on the kit; let dry 15-20 minutes; then you remove the product with a humid shovel. Product remains on the interpanels.
Good one, but to remove all the excess you have sometimes to start the process again and I've constated that the Pébéo varnish is somewhat fragile (not the first time I see that but this time it was really annoying).
I've also tested AK Aluminium pencil: great! Easy to use and excellent rendering; better than with paint and paintbrush.
Then I've airbrushed matt varnish. Trying to correct an excess of varnish, I've also had problems: varnish was removing ("peeling") from the kit (not visible on the photo; just under the cockpit port side around the number 6)...
So, I've decidde to finish the kit without more weathering. I think I will use AK Real Color varnishes in the future...
Well, anyway the most important thing was that I've built that kit to test AK Real Colors and, on this point, it's successful! I'm really pleased by that new gamma of paints
