The cockpit dry-brushed and only a bit of weathering is still missing but I call it 90% done

Of course the trouble goes on, the inside of the conopy didn't fit to the clear part of the conopy so once again it had to be done by home intervention with a help of evergreen styrene

When I was searching for photos of electronic bays I found it out tat most modelers simply paint the most of it and called it a day, it's not that simple ( never is, right ? ) after hours of searching I found it out why, it's a bit complicated to find good pictures of these areas. Never the less finally I founded what I wanted so electronic bays are painted by photos I founded.

And after hours and hours of painting, reparing the damages, painting again and all over again going in circles, lots of cofee, beer and nerves finally painted, only few decals were used ( USS Forestal, number below NAVY and stenciles ) and this is how it looks now
