Here's the dimunitive vacform of this little-known fighter, as described in the aircraft history section. It took about 40 mins to get this far using 80 grade for basic sanding and 400 grade for smoothing. Not bad, and the pictures show how it looks in general, just taped together.
It needs an engine, one from a B-17 will do, prop and undercarriage, plus a cockpit floor and some detailing, instrument panel etc.
Some of the kit parts are thinly drawn, especially the edges of the fuselage, but a bit of filler and plastic scrap should cure it. The cowling will keep the shape circular. It actually has quite nice surface detail, which, once primed, you'll probably see more of
There are a choice of schemes, but the best-known are the Dutch examples flown in Java against the Japanese. They were, like the rest of the Allied air units, wiped out. So, assuming I can find decals, Dutch it will be. The Chinese had them as well.
This and the Seafire I've mentioned, are only at the basic stage, so these threads might take a while. Hopefully they'll be good.
