I've refreshed my memory on this Yak project and carried on with painting. First the underside painting of two projects, this Yak-7 and the Fw 190 D-11 that has been sitting around half-finished also:

Here is the final product of this latest build. Yak 7A mostly built out-of-box and with the ICM kit decals. Finished before January 1!

Here is the last of the series of ICM Yak fighters that I've just finished. Sorry to say, this one was put on hold to do other things and forgotten about!

Again, this is pretty much out-of-box ICM kit with kit decals for the most part. This Yak-9K really does look like a tank-killer with that huge 45 MM cannon sticking out of the spinner!
