Hammerschlag (M.A.I.M. 1/35)
« on: February 06, 2024, 05:53:39 PM »
Something funny now : a "mecha" from the "1946" serie of Modernarmies-in-miniatures.

The kit was on my stash since a few years ; now I've decided to build it !

Parts are airbrushed in white as base colour

Cabine is airbrushed in Off White and then elements are paintbrushed with AK 3G colors. As you can see, the front and rear parts of the cabine are easy to assemble but there is a big space between them... But I have the solution ;-)

Yes, the thema is "1946" but it looks really modern  :))

Well, I've painted the "cabin". Just bothering is the space between the two parts...  :-wall (See the last photo...)

For what concerns the space between the two parts of the body, here is my solution !

If you can't hide something, then show it !

I've removed the rubber of an electric wire and glued it over the space : looks fine to me  :))

Parts are painted with in the WW II Belgian "mostard" khaki ; that is a mix of :
40% Tamiya XF-49 Khaki
40% Tamiya XF-59 Desert Yellow
10% Tamiya XF-52 Flat Earth
10% Gunze H-329 Yellow
