Adaptive camouflage
« on: September 26, 2011, 04:16:35 PM »
By utilizing an adaptive camouflage cloak, military vehicles like tanks can instantaneously disappear or change their shape to make them look like something altogether different, like a 4x4. Panels that also can provide protective armor, are made of light, hexagonal "pixels" that create a thermal pattern to blend in with surroundings. This allows the vehicle to evade airborne IR targeting and night-vision systems
