My best friend owns three horses. She loves them.
Some months ago, I showed you photos of Sirokko, painted with acrylics (figure was approximatively a 54mm scale) - See here:
http://www.letletlet-warplanes.com/forum/ground-forces/sirokko/After that, I painted for her the second horse, Copain (also with acrylics). At this time she didn't owned a third horse.
As some Belgian fellow modelers are insisting for me to use oil paints and to try to paint figures, I decided to try oil paint on three little 1/72 horses from Preiser (found with cows, pigs, dog... in a box I bought for some sheep...); and naturally my wish was to paint the horses of my friend, to give her a diorama with all of them on it.
To work with oil paint was a discover for me, but really what a great pleasure!
So I'm proud to show you, with the authorization of my friend, from left to right: Copain, Sirokko and Riboy.
I gived the horses to my friend this morning. As you know I have won many prizes in contest. But my best result was obtained today: simply looking at the eyes of my friend discovering my work... Better than a Best of show! As it is said in French: "Cela n'a pas de prix!"
