Here's my latest project, an old Gunze Sangyo Beetle. I'm converting it into a Standard to replicate Ingrid, the 1/1 scale '56 Standard sedan we're slowly refurbishing.

Yes, a few. This Beetle was the only one I've got, but they made some others as well and they pop up on ebay a lot.

My small Beetle has been dormant for a long time, so I finished preparing the body and painted it last night. I will attempt to continue this build rather than putting it back on the shelf. :-red

The small Ingrid is finished but still needs to have a little suspension surgery. The rear of the car sits up too high and I need to lower it some, but thought I would show the finished product anyway. It's sitting on the real 1/1 Ingrid in the first two photos. :-cool
