Hi mates.
Next weekend i will be in Speyer. This is brithday present from my parents. Besides the old town i will of course not pass the opportunity to visit the Technik Museum in Speyer
. Also i read they have a part of the museum for models. You can have a good impression what they have in this link here:

Yes i will take 2 cameras...just in case. I just realized that the Dr.1 they have in the Museum is from Achim
I hope it will be grounded and not on ropes.

To regret no original Dr.I is preserved. By the way- remember me if you get close to the technical drawings of this airplane

Thunderstreak, yes.
Italian colors, and very interesting detail on airbrakes (?
), it looks like a Korean letters to me. Could it be USAF one that is sold or given to Italy???
, or these are not letters at all?
Oooop, I checked on some other photo's of this airplane - these are perforations on the airbrake. I was fantasizing
- Korean letters
.
Good shots on a cloudy and grey weather.

Very nice observation Papa! Yes weather was not the best :;( but it was more difficult to make photos inside of the hanger. Lighting was not always very good.

Now something for the WWI freaks. One of the two Fokker Dr.I replicas they have has the color scheme of Dr.I 204/17 of Vfw Paul Bäumer of Jasta 2 "Boelcke" April 1918. The plane is also on the title page of the Osprey book about Jasta Boelcke that was a strange coincidence that i had that book with me
