With no doubt this is art images!!! Interesting that this plane fought in many of bitter actions and have very minimal looses.

The Jaguar first role was to defend the west from Russian attack over the plains of Germany. Of course this all change with the 1st Gulf war, then the aircraft had to fly in an area that the RAF had never trained for. That I think if I'm right, is the only 'war' the Jaguar has been used in.

French Jaguars have seen action in Mauritania and Chad, however the biggest test for the Jag came in the war for Kuwait. Both RAF and French Jaguars operated in the area. Before the air war began RAF commanders had decided not to use their Jaguars at low-level, but go for medium-level strikes with fighter and anti-radar missile support. This proved correct andRAF Jaguars had great success with bombs and rockets.
The first French Jaguar mission of the war was flown at low level but 3 of the 12 aircraft were badly damaged by light flak and SAM7 hand-held missiles.

This is normal ratio. Some book I have read, say that regular looses of the air raid should be some 25%. So if you have motivated enemy and equal skill, training and equipment this is normal rate.

Another image of a photographic reconnaissance Jaguar of 41 Sqn, this was taken during the first Gulf war. The reconnaissance pod can just be seen under the aircraft behind the wing fuel tanks.
It was taken by another Jag pilot during a mission.

I'm a bit unsure about this, but at about this time RAF photographic sections only used black and white film, so he may have got the film from them and then they could process and print it for him. I could be totally wrong, but it's a start :))

Well in this image you only get the shadow. However, you cannot mistake the shape of the Jaguar, this one on a reconnaissance mission during the first Gulf.
