Here are more shots of various Bf 108 versions including very early and also very late Nord-built types.
It was used many times in movies to act as a 'Me-109'; believe a pair were even used in 'The longest Day'!

I'm pretty sure you're right about The Longest Day, Nico. Also one was used in The Great Escape, as I recall.

I've been watching and waiting for one of the Eduard Weekend Edition kits to come up for sale on Squadron Mail Order so I can add the "older brother" to my Messerschmitt collection.......
