Shoigu discussed with the head of the Serbian Ministry of defense supply mi-35 helicopters

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS./ The issue of supplying Serbia with four Mi-35 combat helicopters, four Mi-17 transport helicopters, t-72 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2 and other weapons was discussed during talks with Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Serbian military Minister Aleksandar vulin told reporters on Tuesday.

"At the moment, we talked about the purchase of four Mi-17 transport helicopters and four Mi-35 combat helicopters. We also talked about the continuation of military-technical cooperation, further equipment, modernization of MiG fighters, the acquisition and supply of T-72 and BMP-2 tanks and certain types of other weapons," Vulin said.

At the same time, he stressed that the Serbian army is trying to equip its forces and arm itself as much as possible. "We must always be ready for the worst scenario," Vulin said.

The Minister also noted that military-technical cooperation between Russia and Serbia continues. "I am very grateful for that. Armed Serbia is a peaceful Serbia, as well as a guarantor of stability in the Balkans," said Vulin
