The U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps have successfully flown a Raytheon MALD-J (Miniature Air Launched Decoy Jammer) equipped with a radio data link. The link allows for in-flight targeting adjustments and expands the system's "situational awareness." During the captive carry test, the MALD-J conducted a radar jamming mission and sent data to an electronic warfare battle manager, who adjusted the mission accordingly.
