I'd like to build the RNZAF machine in that first set of photos. There are so many possible SBD/A-24 subjects to build models of!

Absolutely interesting machine and thanks to its construction very attractive modeling subject. Now I am going with images sorted by type, so this set is SBD-1. Interesting that some sample have blister on the front engine ring cowling :-think

Great photos as usual! This collection should be an inspiration for anyone who would like to join our group SBD build........ :-blah
I will look in my files for a photo of SBDs stored on the hangar deck. Since the wings do not fold the airplanes were often winched up to the overhead beams of the hangar deck and other machines parked under them. I'd always thought that would be a nice diorama.
