Douglas A-1H Skyraider Recently Overhauled and Flyable
« on: November 19, 2009, 07:01:42 PM »
Hi all after a while away doing other things. There is a recently restored flyable Skyraider at the Tennessee Museum of Air. You can have a look at http://www.tnairmuseum.com/node/49
I have time in this aircraft. You can see my report at http://skyraider.org/hook/journalset/journalsec6.htm and look at my 20 May 1972 mission.

Yes, these were the type of maps we used. The actual maps we flew with were classified "Secret" because of the threat locations that were marked by the intelligence personnel. The ones on my website were the same maps with out the threat locations. If anyone is interested, I have a complete set of maps (more correctly, charts) in various scales for Vietnam and Laos.  SpadGuy
