Title: Aviodrome airshow
Post by: g-1reaper on August 21, 2011, 11:44:03 PM
It was a very nice day, despite one very heavy shower in the morning - here is my impression, I am not a very talented photographer and my camera is not the best suited for the job - but.... here we go!

I was also there for two days selling books! On Sunday we had a very heavy, but also short shower that came totally at once and unexpected. We had our bookstand outside and it looked we had a substantial water damage.
Luckily it was much less when we moved all books inside and ckeched for water damage I think most books can be saved when dry!
Between selling books I also made some shots, althouh I had no time to make in-flight shots! Hope you'' enjoy these shots!

It was not really an 'Airshow' but rather a 'Military Weekend' with some visiting warbirds.
However, there was some nice display flying and Aviodrome attracted especially on Saturday a huge crowd that completely congested all roads leading to Aviodrome!
Everybody wanted to see Red Bull's shining P-38 Lightning!!
Retrospectively we can only say it was for Aviodrome a highly successful event....
And Edwin...........don't be shy on your photographic talents; your photos are really excellent!!
