Luftwaffe seatbelts
Seat belts are very possibly about the most wanted details need for any airplane kits. They are very prominent in their position and with ease catch the eye and give a rich look to the cockpit. Instrument panels as well as the rest of the interiors are in many cases hidden deep inside and sometimes invisible but the belts are in any case very visible. In this way it is a very smart decision of Eduard to release their entire series of fabric seat belts.
Here you have their Luftwaffe seat belts in 1/72 scale. As seen on image, they provide one small piece with belts for two fighter airplanes. Working with them is more than easy- just take one piece of belt, easy lift up and place in position where they have to be. The assembly instructions show the steps. Belts are made from extra fine fabric and they follow the natural contour of each seat and bend into shape. I have put one tiny point of super glue in place when one end needs to be fixed, just to lay down the belt.
Seen here is the demo kit for this product, the Ta 152H from Kora in 1/72. This kit is very easy to build and comes with additional resin parts.
Great thanks to Eduard for sample product which can be purchased here!
