This year’s Royal International Air Tattoo – Fairford celebrated the 50th Display Season of the Royal Air Force – Red Arrows as well as the 40th anniversary of the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the Hawk jet trainer.The Lockheed Martin F35B Lightning ll Joint Strike Fighter was due to make its first appearance at the show but did not appear due to technological reasons.
