Les Paras de la seconde guerre mondiale
Since more than 70 years, paratroops are assimilated as an elite troop of each army, due to the numerous exploits they made during the second world war.
The idea of paratroops was initiated by the Soviet Union in the years ’30 ; was ameliorated by the Germans in 1940-41 and, in 1944-45 that were the Anglo-Americans that gived enormous capacities to their paras.
Ligne de Front begins with this hors-série an encyclopedic study of the paras from de nations that were involved in WWII. The first volume (tome I) is consacred to the Allies : USA, Great Britain, France, USSR, but also Belgium, Poland, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Greece and Norway.
