APC decals- new generation

APC is well known by printing of small series of decals and for a years, better to say since 2001, they used well known ALSP printers. But, this printers are for a long time out of production and also print materials was not available any more. This year, APC turn into new technology of printing decals. Digital technology allows printing of decals from one piece in very short delivery times is possible.

So why is this interesting for many of us? Point is that there is so many good optional markings for some aircrafts but they are not available not within the basic kit, not as extra decal set. Problem is that standard print method demand at least 150 samples to be print (all right, depends of print shop, some demand higher minimal number). And some subjects, no matter how interesting they are, can not find so many customers. Some time ago I publish here model of F4U Corsair with Charles Lindbergh marking. So who will make this kit too? Not so many people, those who are total fan of Corsair in general and looking for some new scheme and hardly that many kits will be made. And this is place where APC jump in, cover small scale needs with quality print.

The technology is particularly suited for limited series, small-scale products, additional sets, individual orders, etc. However, thanks to the rapid printing of small costs, large-scale manufacturers also use the necessary quantity of decals to store the stock.

Work with this decals are so simple, you need to cut em from paper. Note that entire paper is covered by decal film, so take care to trim it carefully. Place in place and this is it. One great feature is that decal film is rigid and it does not warp when you hold it so you have with this far better options to precise place it. In same moment, they fit perfect to surface and work well with decal solutions.

APC range of decals is big and it grown even bigger. Thanks to the good info database, this series is historically excellent covered and authentic.
