Brengun Zlin Z-50L 1/72
If you need kit easy and relax to build and in same time detailed and accurate, then Brengun Zlin Z-50L is ideal for that purpose. This kit follow Brengun proven formula, simple and detailed.
Kit we talk about here is in 1/72 scale and stock code BRP72030. It is dedicated to the foreigner use of this great aerobatic airplane. Inside of box is assembly leaflet in color, two frets of plastic parts and one with transparent parts, two resin and one small etched set. In total there is no much parts and same kit is small, palm top size.
Build start with assembly of some interior elements and paint em all. Etched set is also painted, it include seat belts as well trim tab for controls. There is variation in painting of interior, try to find out photo but it will not be problem if you follow Brengun instruction which give principal painting. One harder task will be to paint instruments of the instrument panels as well Brengun did not make decals for this.
Once all interior elements are painted and assembled, main assembly goes fast and easy. Part are precise and match good so there is not much problems like of set join or so on. First to do is fuselage half’s assembly, which include front engine cover and cooler. Wings and horizontal tail come next, horizontal are two single part while wings consist of one bottom and two top parts. I have apply filler over join line, this is just my routine, to be 100% that any gap will be filled and flatten. When all of this was smoothed, I place rest of parts, landing gear elements and exhaust.
For painting I have choose one attractive machine from South Africa, all white with ZOO YORK labels all over it. And when I start apply decals, I realize that those for wings are too much smaller in size. So I change subject and paint it all blue, so next sample is from Germany. Painting is simple, all blue machine and decals, precise in this case, set up with easy, there was just few of them.
Final result is so attractive small kit. Entire build is easy, kit is precise and no matter of some decal problems, I really would like to recommend you! And big thanks to Brengun for sample product!
