Latest unofficial information state that Libyan MiG-25PD(S) 7012 has been put back into service at Misrata airbase. No info about the kind of service this machine was put on to bring it back into airworthy state, one of possibilities is cannibalizing of material from other machines of similar types. Photo shown MiG-25 no. 7012 armed with R-40TD and R-40RD long range air-to-air missiles and it is source for color illustration. Still miss official info.
