Euro Scale Modelling 2016
On Saturday 29 October 2016 the annual Euro Scale Modelling (ESM) was held at Nieuwegein near Utrecht. This annual show was bigger and busier than ever before with -as claimed by the organizing IPMS Netherlands- one kilometer of stands. It is evident that model building (and not only of aircraft!) is still a growing business and it was surprising to see what was offered for sale. It seems there hardly are any aircraft types without a model kit available! Of course injection-moulding products are most represented, but there were also a LOT of special limited-edition resin kits and LOTS of after-market products.
The slide show gives an impression of the models exhibited at this event. By now, the annual ESM must be the largest or at least one of the largest modelling shows in Europe….
