Lockheed T-33 in Lozovik
Lockheed T-33 was one of the most important jet trainer and it seen widespread use in NATO countries but as well some other. One of this user was Yugoslavia, who deploy a number of this airplane in its service. Apart from basic train role, this airplane was also used as target tug and reconnaissance plane.
Sample machine on this images were public display in the village Lozovik, Serbia. It is on open air in front of the school and as the people from this village say, it was donated by military as honor to the Mr. Radomir Markovic, who have dedicated his life to astronautics and was recognized by Soviet’s in that time. As result of that, some Soviet astronauts has visit this village and even more there was made planetarium. So much for one village in Serbia. T-33 displayed there has no engine and by claims of people from Lozovik, it is stored in depot of school near by.
