Panzer
France is home of the encyclopedia and it’s no wonder that best titles from this sphere are still coming from that country. One of the last I have seen is Caraktere encyclopedia ’Panzer- The German Tanks Encyclopedia’.
What we have here is a soft cover book of total 196 pages, dedicated to the German tanks in WW2. It is all in English, A4 form and full color. Design and choice of color are excellent; it is not only attractive to see but also helps in easy exploring of content. The book starts with introduction and then followed by chapters. Each chapter presents a type of tank, for example Panzer I. Each chapter starts with text and images of this type and then followed by an explanation of each version of this type. The entire layout looks like web layout, with menu and sub menu.
One of the excellent features of this encyclopedia is a small data box on the left side which contains a graphical way of providing performances and features of the particular vehicle so the reader can with ease get very quick info and the same text provides all of the rest of the info. The entire book is packed with a great number of excellent archive images (and I am wondering how they find them!!) as well as top illustrations of the each vehicle.
Is this book for you? Definitely- yes! No matter are you serious researcher, beginner in modeling, somebody who just has some interest in armor vehicles, this title will definitely fit your desires and provide all essential info of the German tanks. The title which will be a highlight in your library and will not fade out during time, it will be worth it in few decades too and stay a valuable source of info and a leading reference.
I am very happy to have a sample of this publication and you can have yours here, here or here! Big thanks to Caraktere for providing sample of this amazing publication and I wish them many more to come.
