Windshield wipers

No matter how detailed a kit may be, it always has space for some additional detailing. One detail which appears from time to time on aircraft kits is windscreen wipers. In most cases this is built in detail in the windscreen but it is very tiny detail and not easy to be painted, at least not for less experienced modelers.

In this way it is very good to know that Hauler released one very interesting product, etched sheet with windscreen wipers. Set stock code is HLH72026, it is in 1/72 scale and contains several types of the wipers. Some of them I have recognized with ease and some I did not, but I do believe that you will find suitable type of aircraft kit where it can be used.

Use is very easy. First of all I advise you to spray a coat of the primer over the sheet surface and this makes it ready for use. When painting a kit paint the particular wiper you are using and take care of the color, it can be in camouflage color but also black, metal or any other. When kit is complete, place it on windscreen with a touch of cement.
