Dartford expo 2014
IT’S A SMALL WORLD – The Dartford expo at The Orchards, 28 june 2014. This year it was the second edition of the expo “it’s a small world” organized by my friend Dominique Jadoul from RetrokiT.
As for last year I was present… The surface of the expo was practically doubled.
There were clubs coming from England of course, but also from Belgium and France; and some sellers. Ambiance was excellent between all those guys. The mayor of Dartford visited the expo and found some funny stuff…
Last year, there was only a “Best of Show” attributed by the public on the beautifulest model of all the expo; but this year a contest was organized with 7 “open” categories: three for juniors; two seniors (simple presentation or diorama) and Masters (simple presentation or diorama). Master being reserved to those who had previously won a reward in any contest.
The models in competition were from a high level of quality; there were also lot of special prizes and the Best of Show was, like last year, attributed by the votes of the public.
Just one thing to say: I’m waiting for the third expo, next year…
