Open Depot Day
On this day the Dutch Military Aircraft Museum (MLM) held its annual Open Depot Day. This day is used to show the general public a view inside the depot at the premises of Soesterberg airbase where aircrat are not only stored, but also restrored into static condition. Normally this location is not open for public.

There are plans for a completely new Armed Forces Museum that will not only include aircraft but also arrms and military vehicles.
From the MLM location a shuttle bus was used to transport visitors to the depot a few kilometers away..
It was a very interesting day with as highlights the new Brewster Buffalo (replica) and a newly painted USAF F-4 Phantom.
These types were until now not yet shown to the general public.
The Open Day event was very successful, drawing many visitors. Furter weather could not be better; typically Dutch with blue sky and beautiful cumulus clouds!
