MiG-21SMT Interior
This upgrade set is realised for the recently MiG-21 SMT released by Eduard, of course.
The set procure all that is needed for the cockpit interior, with a splendid seat, consoles, visor, agreement with lot of little parts; color photoetched parts (seatbelts, consoles…); maskings and a bonus of three resin parts including the helmet of a pilot that you can place (with some false negligence) on the seat, or on the wing of the airplane… Nice attention!
It’s nothing to say that Eduard is mastering perfectly resin casting and photoetch: there is absolutely no bubble in the resin, and photoetched parts are stunning. Details are extremely fine and well represented like some cables…
The instruction sheet is composed of three A5 printed recto verso. The different phases of the work are clearly illustrated and there is two color photos of the finished cockpit. It is clearly mentioned when you have to modify (essentially remove) some elements on the plastic parts.
Conclusion: If the MiG-21 SMT kit is a real jewel in itself, there is always possibility to add diamonds to a jewel… Here the diamonds are Eduard’s brassin!
