Eduard’s 49585 F6F-3 Hellcat undercarriage set

Eduard’s F6F-3 kit released previously this year is absolute hit kit on the market, for a long period of time modeler just could not find good Hellcat kit in 1/48 scale on the market. But, as Eduard always strive towards perfection they released aftermarket detail sets for this kit.
Newest addition to their detail sets is set 48585 for Hellcat undercarriage. Set contains one fret packed in Eduard’s plastic bag with the assembly is broken down across 3 pages. Drawings are simple and clear the construction looks reasonably straightforward, so long as you work carefully and steadily. Set contains 61 parts highly detailed and they completely replace undercarriage boxes and add some details like hydraulic guidelines for landing gear, wheel wells, details on wheel doors …
The first step with using this set is to remove old wheel bays from the kit and then to simply follow the Eduard’s instructions.
This is a great little set for anyone looking for the “last word” in detailing their Hellcat. Less experienced modelers should treat this set with caution, and those more experienced can really make a masterpiece model in combination with 48588 and 49411 set from Eduard.
This set is highly recommended.
